Inauguration of the amphitheater in Ekonomikumparken

This year, Ekonomikum celebrates its 50th anniversary, and the amphitheater on the slope facing Ekonomikumparken is being completed.

What makes the site extra special is that during the construction process, it was discovered that the architect behind Ekonomikum, Peter Celsing, had already included an amphitheater in his original drawings for this exact location. Now, half a century later, the vision has become a reality. The inauguration takes place on April 30th and will be a moving way to begin the Walpurgis celebrations.
