Spring is approaching and it is finally time for the weekend that every single student has longed for and dreamed of, the Valborg weekend! This year we present a joint Valborg celebration with a coherent festival area between Södermanlands-Nerikes nation and Smålands nation at Skvalborg and Kvalborg.

We will have live performances with several of Sweden’s most current artists as well as DJ performances throughout the event. After the live artists, Smålands will have a after party at their area and Snerikes will have an outdoor lounge area. Artists and DJs will be presented in the event in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned!

Time both days: 5 PM – 2 AM

The ticket release will last for three days and from 12:00 to 16:00 in the Brundisium office building in front of Snerikes pink castle every three days. A queue will be drawn along S:t Larsgatan for those who want to buy tickets.

5/4 – This ticket release is for members of Södermanlands-Nerikes nation or Smålands nation and applies to festival bands. It will be possible to buy a maximum of three bands per person. If you buy to a person who is not with you, you need to show a picture of the person’s identification and nation card that shows that the person is a member of Snerikes or Smålands.

CANCELLED. 6/4 – This ticket release is both for students at Uppsala and at other universities and colleges and applies to festival bands. It will be possible to buy a maximum of three bands per person and at the time of purchase you need to show a picture of identification and student card for the people. Guests from other education institutions do not need to have a Valborg guest card at the time of purchase, but will need to show a Valborg guest card or nation card at the entrance to enter. Valborg guest cards are available for purchase at the Curators Convention’s expedition and can be purchased in advance for the Valborg weekend.

CANCELLED. 7/4 – This ticket release is both for students at Uppsala and at other universities and colleges. On this day, it will be possible to buy both festival bands and one-day tickets for Skvalborg, Kvalborg and the champagne gallop at Valborg. ID and Valborg guest card are just like 6/4.

The festival band gives you admission to the event during all three days, Skvalborg, Kvalborg and the Champagne gallop. The one-day tickets are only valid for the day to which they relate.

After brunch we open up for PUB! We offer music, chill hang out and good food on our roof terrace and in Carl Larsson. Look down on the city and the nations below and soak up some sun with a burger in hand. Can it get any better?

Celebrate this year’s second best day at Norrland’s nation! We are open all day with various festival activities! To make good things even better, our day club is up and running from 13.00 – hooray!

Day club:
We start the day with a day club starting from 13.00, with outdoor dance floor in our courtyard. Pause the dancing and eat festival food in Majs Café or hang out at Orvars Krog. Visit the whirlpool lounge, chill in the summer bar or take group photos by our photo wall! Of course, there are non-alcoholic alternatives.

Beer Pong Tournament:
At Kvalborg, our appreciated Kvalborg tradition is back: the Beer Pong Tournament! The tournament starts at 18.00 in Gamla salen (The old part). Join your group of friends and show who is the best at this noble party sport: Sign up today!

Information about Beer Pong Tournament:
* 3-5 people per team
* 200 kr/ team, you pay at the door (Includes entrance and beer / alcohol-free beverages for the first game and entrance to the club – so worth it!)
* Nation card/Valborg-guest card and identification are required for everyone on the team.
* Pre-registration: send an email to prforman@norrlandsnation.se with team name and names of the participants no later than 26 April. By pre-registration you are guaranteed a place until 17.45, we open the doors from 17.15 and start the tournament at 18.00. Limited number of places!

Club:
Warm up for the evening by singing karaoke from 18.00 and keep the spirit going by recharging in our lounge. At 21.00, the highlight of the evening begins, when we really get started on the dance floors and open theme bars! During the evening, several fun surprises await… The club is open until 02.00.

After three long years of waiting Valborg in Uppsala is finally back and we will celebrate that with three days of festival! We will turn our beautiful garden and nation house into a party area with a big dancefloor outside and two inside. Our opening hours will be as follows:

Skvalborg (28/04): 16.00-02.00
Kvalborg (29/04): 16.00-02.00
Valborg (30/04): 16.00-04.00

TICKET SALE 4 APRIL
It will be possible to buy a FESTIVAL TICKET for all three days, which will give you the opportunity to skip the queue and get into the club for free on Skvalborg, Kvalborg and Valborg until 22.00. NOTE: After 22.00 the ticket is valid as entrance but does not skip the que.

A festival ticket costs 300/400 kr for members/non-members. They will be sold starting 4 April in the big hall of the nation house from 10.00 to 16.00. There is a limited amount of festival tickets available! Nation card and legitimation are required. Each buyer of a festival ticket can choose to buy two more tickets for friends, provided that their ID and nationcard can be proven aswell.

At Smålands nation we are KICKING DOWN THE DOOR to Valborg 2024 with a Brunchgasque! Saturday 27/4 It’s time to show off your favorite pajamas, and celebrate the coming of spring, with us at Smålands nation. You’ll be pampered with the best brunch experience Smålands can offer (and more). Come to us to enjoy amazing food, be cozy in your pajamas, and meet many amazing brunchers! The dress code is, according to ancient tradition, pajamas. Or smart casual for those who like to dress up for their Saturday brunches. You register by sending an email to 1q@smalands.nu with food-and drinking preferences, allergies and request for company. Last day to sign up is Sunday 21/4.

This ”ticket” makes so you can skip the queue to get in to GHlassborg.

Tickets are sold by 3Q and has to be bought at the nation. You are allowed to buy two tickets/ person assuming you can provide nation cards for everyone that you’re buying for. When tickets are sold to members, all persons you buy for need to be a member of GH.

 

It is possible to enter the event if you don’t have a ticket and pay when entering. The entrance fee will be

70 kr for members of Gästrike-Hälsinge nation,

100 kr for non members.

These will be the entrance fees during both Kvalborg and Valborg.
