Räkan at Göteborgs nation

Finally it is time for the Räkan (the shrimp)!

Of course, it all ends on May 1 with Valborg’s obvious conclusion: Räkan. A shrimp feast that cannot be seen anywhere else on the planet, with an accompanying 04 release into the small hours.

Supermegamimosabrunch at Göteborgs nation

The Supermegamimosa Brunch on April 27 is a nation-wide party, indoors and out, from 12 am to 2 am, filled with food, drinks, music, beer pong and much more! Several artists will be performing live during the day as well, keep an eye on our social media for who is playing!

Som ett sofistikerat avslut på den fantastiska Valborgsveckan erbjuder vi Smålands fabulösa Champagnelyx! Enligt tradition serverar vi våra gäster bubbliga drycker och lyxiga smårätter på Valborgsdagen. Självklart erbjuds också många andra drycker och goda alkoholfria alternativ. Här kan du ta en paus från de högljudda gatorna och istället njuta av våran avslappnade men festliga stämning vid lyxigt uppdukade bord med vita dukar. Datum: 30/04/2024

Småland’s Nation presents Småland’s Day Party!

A new addition to Småland’s Valborg celebration is here! When the splashing of Skvalborg is over and the struggle and suffering of Kvalborg begins, one should be in Småland’s backyard! Deck chairs and sun (or hail and rain), regardless, we will have a really good time in Småland’s backyard on Kvalborg. Our courtyard will be filled with music, luxurious cocktails, delicious street-food style cuisine, and entertainment to give you the best pre-party Kvalborg can offer. Well-composed non-alcoholic options are of course available! You will have to search far and wide for a warmer Valborg celebration; in our courtyard, you are guaranteed rhythm, joy, and excellent company. Get ready to put on your shorts, roll up your sleeves, and disappear into the summer dream with us! Take the opportunity to step out of your corridor room in slippers for once and rest up after yesterday’s release and before tomorrow’s ChampagneLYX. All we ask for is a cheerful mood.

Welcome to Småland’s Nation’s Grand Pub on Skvalborg April 28th! Valborg days are here, spring is approaching and winter depression is a thing of the past! At Småland’s Nation, we celebrate this by hosting a splendid grand pub! Good food and good company are “the name of the game” this Skvalborg evening. Enjoy a delicious schnitzel or a juicy burger in the historic premises of Pub Hyttan. You can also play a game of table tennis, or why not some beer pong, in the large banquet hall. During the evening, you might need to relax a bit in the company of friends. If so, you are welcome to the small Banquet Hall, which for the evening has been turned into a tropical lounge.

APRIL 27: BRUNCH

Since ancient times, we at V-Dala have loved brunch and therefore want to share this wonderful combination of breakfast and lunch with you. Start the day with a delicious brunch buffet, mimosas, cocktails or a non-alcoholic option to meet today’s Valborg celebration in the perfect way. V-Dala’s brunch is known to sell out in no time, so secure your tickets well in advance! Keep an eye on our social media for more information about the event!

APRIL 28: CLUB

On the 28th, you can bet that we will create a thunderous club in true V-Dala spirit. With a sparkling disco ball setting the mood, we will storm the main hall to lead Uppsala’s best dance floor until 02:00. Keep an eye on our social media for more information about the event!

MAY 1: MAY DINNER

What would a Valborg celebration be without a final First of May dinner? Maybe you’ve been working all week and haven’t had time to enjoy the best of Uppsala? Or maybe you’ve had your fill and want to round off in style? Then V-Dala’s First of May dinner is perfect for you! With the student cap on our heads, we enter the main hall together with Smålands nation for this springy spectacle.

SÖDERMANLANDS-NERIKES NATION PRESENTS CHAMPAGNEGALOPPEN – VALBORG – 2023!

As if the Festival Days weren’t enough, we present as the icing on the cake Uppsala’s greatest Champagne gallop! On the last of April we open the doors for an unforgettable day and promise bubbles in quantities, live music and a fantastic atmosphere! If you want to experience the best of champagne gallops, Snerikes is the place to be!

Time: 12:00-17:00

Ticket release
27/3 – This ticket release is for members at Södermanlands-Nerikes nation and applies to festival bands for Skvalborg and Kvalborg as well as tickets to the Champagne Race. It will be possible to buy a maximum of three festival bands and a maximum of three tickets to the champagne gallop per person. If you buy for a person who is not with you, you need to show a picture of the person’s ID and nation card showing that the person is a member of Snerikes nation.

28/3 – This ticket release is for non-members and will be opened subject to availability.

The festival bands are valid for Skvalborg and Kvalborg. Tickets for the champagne gallop are sold separately but at the same time. The ticket release will take place at the office building Brundisium, the gray building in front of Snerikes pink castle, and there will be a queue along S:t Larsgatan for those who want to buy tickets.

Prices:
Champagne gallop – 250 SEK
Festival band – 950 SEK

At the champagne gallop, it will be possible to buy tickets at the door subject to availability. So if you only want to go to the champagne gallop, you can secure your place either at the ticket release or by coming early to the gallop on Valborg.

The day that you all have been waiting for is here and we want to proudly present Valborg – Festival days at Södermanlands-Nerikes nation 2023! We offer two packed, amazing and unforgettable days with live performances by current artists, DJ-performances and much more! If that was not enough, after the live artists we will open up for an after party at Skvalborg and Kvalborg in the nation house! Artists and DJs will be featured in the event in the coming weeks, so be sure to click ‘interested’ or ‘coming’ to not miss out on all the exciting updates!

Ticket release:
27/3 – This ticket release is for members of Södermanlands-Nerikes nation and applies to festival bands for Skvalborg and Kvalborg and tickets to the champagne gallop. Important! On the Festival Days, the bands will break the queue until 20:00. After that, it will be possible to buy entry at the door for 475 SEK subject to availability. The bands will still be valid as entry but will not break the queue. At 23:30 we will open for sale of after party tickets at the door for 100 SEK.

Beergarden at Västgöta nation

At kvalborg, our beautiful garden is transformed into a classic German Beergarden with delicious German food and drinks. So come and rest up after Tirolborg’s fast-paced dancing and fry a little in the sun or take it easy in the shade at Västgöta nation’s own beergarden. Only at Kvalborg!
