Guest Cards For Visiting Students Who Want to Celebrate at the Student Nations

Some of the Valborg activities take place at Uppsala’s student nations, which means they are only open to students. If you are a student at a university or college other than Uppsala University, you will need to obtain a Valborg Guest Pass (Valborgsgästkort). Make sure to get your pass in time to join the celebrations!

If you study outside of Uppsala and want to attend nation events during Valborg, you will need a temporary membership, known as a guest pass.

Only special “Valborg Guest Cards” are valid for the 2025 Valborg celebrations. These can only be purchased by students who are not studying in Uppsala. To buy a guest pass, you must be a student at a Swedish or international university or college. Students at folk high schools (folkhögskola) or vocational schools (KY/YH) are not eligible for a guest pass.

Where do I buy a Valborg guest card?

The guest cards are sold at Kuratorskonventet’s Guest Pass Office at Övre Slottsgatan 7 and all of Uppsala’s 13 student nations.

Tuesday – Friday: 17:00–19:00
Saturday: 13:00–15:00

Guest passes can only be purchased on-site in Uppsala. You can send a representative to purchase your pass if you cannot do so yourself. Your representative must bring a copy of your ID, and a copy of your student ID or enrollment certificate (registreringsintyg). If your student ID does not show an expiration date or is valid for more than one year, you must provide additional proof of current enrollment for the ongoing semester.

What Do I Need to Show to Buy a Valborg Guest Pass?

You must bring a valid ID and proof that you are an enrolled university or college student.

Payment is by card only at Kuratorskonventet’s Guest Pass Office (Övre Slottsgatan 7) and all student nations in Uppsala.
Kuratorskonventet does not offer refunds or replacements, so treat your guest pass as a valuable document.
