Partner – LF Uppsala Ensuring a Safe Celebration

Since 2024, Länsförsäkringar Uppsala (LF) has been a partner of the Valborg celebrations in Uppsala in collaboration with Destination Uppsala. With LF’s water stations in Ekonomikumparken, visitors will be able to refill their water bottles during the festivities. The partnership also enables improved sanitation, more event staff, and other safety-enhancing measures throughout the Valborg weekend. As a local company, LF is committed to being part of a safe, secure, and clean Valborg celebration.

LF Uppsala is also supporting the Varannan Vatten campaign—a public health initiative aimed at preventing excessive alcohol consumption and ensuring a safer celebration for all. During Valborg, over 80,000 water bottles will be distributed, both at the student nations and in various locations around Uppsala’s city center.

“We want everyone to feel welcome and well taken care of during the Valborg celebrations in Uppsala, so it’s only natural for us to be part of this initiative,” says Joel Grauman. “Destination Uppsala has already done an excellent job in elevating the Valborg celebrations to what they are today. We are proud to contribute to increased medical support, sanitation efforts, awareness campaigns, and event coordination. Together, we make it possible for more people to take part in the public celebration that Valborg truly is.”
