When nature calls, you can use the designated WC trailers, portable toilets, and urinals placed around Uppsala during the Valborg celebrations. Please leave bushes and green spaces undisturbed during the festivities! Together, we can contribute to a cleaner and more enjoyable celebration.

During Valborg, a large number of toilets are placed throughout Uppsala to ensure that you can easily find one when needed.

• Ekonomikum Park: 95 portable toilets and 39 urinals
• City Center: 100 portable toilets

Contributing to a Circular System

Did you know that your visit to a urinal can actually benefit the environment? During Valborg, SLU and Sanitation360 AB are collaborating to collect urine from the 39 urinals in Ekonomikum Park. The goal is to produce fertilizer for large-scale agriculture. From the estimated 12,000 liters of urine, approximately 600 kg of fertilizer can be produced—taking a step towards a more sustainable cycle between urban and rural areas!
