Sillunch på Göteborgs nation

Valborg i Uppsala är inte komplett utan en härlig, traditionsenlig sillunch! Tillsammans firar vi in våren med en riklig sommarbuffé med allt från sill till pajer.

När vi har ätit sillen, tömt glasen och sjungit sångerna tågar vi, ackompanjerade av en rudimentär, högljudd orkester med trummor och sång, till mösspåtagningen i Carolina-backen där vi tillsammans med tusentals andra välkomnar våren!

Valborg in Uppsala is not complete without a delicious, traditional herring lunch! Together we celebrate spring with a rich summer buffet with everything from herring to pies.

After we’ve eaten the herring, emptied the glasses and sung the songs, we march, accompanied by a rudimentary, loud orchestra with drums and singing, to the carnival procession in Carolina-backen where we welcome spring together with thousands of others!
